Blog Writers

For bloggers, there are some good blog writers that help to make the writing more pleasurable and easier.

I personally have used Windows Live Writer for PC, and I think it’s still the best I have used thus far for a Desktop. Way back in 2009 it was hailed as Best Offline Blogging Software. I tend to agree even now in 2012!

Not only is it free, but more importantly it makes it easier to insert pictures and audio-visual content together with the text.  In addition to that, unlike the original interface like WordPress, it allows for a WYSIWYW – «what you see is what you write» – experience.

As for the iPad, Blogsy is one blog writer that also achieves to some extent what Windows Live Writer does for the PC Desktop. But unfortunately, one needs to pay to use it. 🙂
